In order to obtain a license in barbering, cosmetology, esthetics, nail technology, or waxing in the state of New York, students must complete the requirements listed below. Please contact the New York Board of Cosmetology for more information.
Requirements
COSMETOLOGY: 1000 hours
BARBERING:
ESTHETICIAN: 600 hours
WAXING: 75 hours
NAIL TECHNOLOGY: 250 hours
