Rhode Island State Board of Cosmetology License Information
In order to obtain a license in cosmetology, esthetics, nail technology, or electrology in the state of Rhode Island, students must complete the requirements listed below. Please contact the Rhode Island Department of Health, Division of Hairdressing & Barbering for more information.
Requirements
COSMETOLOGY: 1500 hours
ESTHETICS: 600 hours
NAIL TECHNOLOGY: 300 hours
ELECTROLOGY: 650 hours
